Albany Middle School is located in the heart of Albany, Louisiana, in Livingston Parish.
Albany Middle currently serves over 600 students in the fifth through eighth grades. Albany Middle takes pride in its rigorous academic standards.
Our school mission statement is that the staff, students, and parents of Albany Middle School will work together as we aim for academic excellence.
Albany Middle School was recognized as a 2023 Top Gains Honoree School. AMS is a 5 time recipient, earning the award in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The “Top Gains” designation is awarded to schools who demonstrate excellence in student progress from one year to the next.
